About Us

I have always loved taxidermy. I thought about going to a trade school immediately after high school to learn the art, however life led me in another direction.

I worked as a auto body mechanic for years, and enjoyed it. I still keep my hands in it by working a few hours a week doing restoration on classic cars. I love to sculpt, create lines, and produce symmetry with my hands. This has all carried over into my taxidermy work.

I decided late in my twenties to attend a school for taxidermy, and I found the Pennsylvania Institute of Taxidermy. I graduated with a tremendous amount of knowledge, and could not wait to begin my new career.

I have been in business now full time for eight years.

I definitely made the right decision to change my life and make taxidermy a part of it. I can not imagine any other career giving me such satisfaction.

The look on a customers face when he/she comes to pick up their trophy is priceless.

Very rewarding!

I love to compete in the Pennsylvania Taxidermist Association’s annual Convention and Competition, and have been doing so in the Professional division.

Receiving a best of category ribbon in that division, entitles you to step-up to the Masters division. I have now earned the title of Master in the following categories: W.T. Deer Heads, Misc. Game Heads, Small Mammals, and Large Life Size Mammals

I am now looking forward to entering  my pieces in the Masters division, and have them go up against the best talent in the industry.

Competing, being critiqued by the judges, and applying their advice to my pieces, has made me a better artist and helped me to refine my skills, so that I can produce a quality trophy that will reflect the precious memories you have made with your friends and family.
